Gabriella Chan enhances BC&C team

Hong Kong, 10 November 2022: We are pleased to welcome experienced lawyer Gabriella Chan to Boase Cohen & Collins as a key addition to our Family Law team.

Gabriella, who joins as an Associate, is proficient in a range of matters arising from the matrimonial context, including divorce and separation, children and financial applications, committal applications, domestic violence relief, injunction, third party interests, jurisdiction disputes, Hague Convention cases on parental child abduction, adoption, wardship proceedings, pre- and post-nuptial agreements and declaration of parental status.

“We are delighted to have Gabriella on board, she is an excellent addition to our legal team. As a firm, we are consistently recognised by the Hong Kong Law Awards for our Family Law services and her arrival further strengthens our capabilities in this field,” says BC&C Senior Partner Colin Cohen.

Gabriella is active in the Hong Kong Family Law Association and is also a member of the Helena May, the private club in Central with a longstanding tradition of charitable activities and community outreach designed to benefit women and girls in need.

She attended school in the UK before completing her law degree and Postgraduate Certificate in Laws at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She then gained a Master of Arts in English Literature from the University of Bristol in the UK. She was admitted as a Solicitor in Hong Kong in 2018.

Says Gabriella: “It’s been a busy few days settling in and meeting my new BC&C colleagues. I’m relishing this opportunity to work with the firm’s renowned Family Law department and I look forward to utilising my knowledge and experience for the benefit of our clients.”
