Overview

Joanna studied for her law degree in the UK at the University of Lancaster, where she was member of the Chinese Society and Culture Society, attending Japanese and Korean classes via the latter and volunteering as a language teacher in her spare time. After graduating in 2014, she worked in legal administration – including an extended period with BC&C – before completing her Postgraduate Certificate in Laws at the University of Hong Kong in 2021.

After working as a Trainee Solicitor, Joanna returned to BC&C as a Paralegal in 2023. She stays in touch with her university colleagues as a committee member of the Lancaster University Hong Kong Alumni Group and in her leisure time enjoys hiking, running, yoga and photography.
