Overview

Gillian earned her law degree from the University of Hong Kong in 2024 and returned there to complete her Postgraduate Certificate in Laws the following year, after which she joined BC&C. During her studies, she undertook internships at a number of law firms in Hong Kong as well as mini-pupillage assignments at different barristers’ chambers.

Her excellence in mooting competitions saw Gillian tutor secondary school students in legal concepts and mooting skills, while she was also president of the HKU Outreach Legal Talks Initiative, a student-led community venture designed to assist elderly and low-income citizens. As well, she completed a summer programme in maritime studies at Dalian Maritime University
