BC&C maintains support for legal education

Hong Kong, 24 November 2020: Lisa Wong has hailed Boase Cohen & Collins’ ongoing support for legal education after presenting the firm’s annual student prize at the University of Hong Kong’s Faculty of Law.

The BC&C Prize in Accounts and Financial Management was awarded to outstanding scholar Michelle Tsang for her excellent work while studying for her Postgraduate Certificate in Laws.

“As a firm, we have always recognised the importance of academic achievement and our congratulations go to Michelle who, we are sure, is destined for a successful career in the legal profession,” said Lisa, a Partner with BC&C since 2014.

“This prize is just one example of our close co-operation with the university. We are a Senior Member of the HKU Charitable Foundation and our annual Criminal Law Lecture is a highlight of the Faculty of Law’s academic year. As well, our Senior Partner Colin Cohen remains an Honorary Lecturer in the Department of Professional Legal Education.”

Due to Covid-19, the prize giving ceremony took place under strict social distancing regulations and was also screened via Zoom for participants who could not attend. P.C.LL. graduate Cheung Chun Wei accepted the BC&C award on Michelle’s behalf.
