Welcome to our 2021 trainees

Hong Kong, 17 September 2021: Boase Cohen & Collins extends a warm welcome to the firm’s latest Trainee Solicitor, Jasmine Kwong. She follows in the footsteps of colleague Gabriel Brettell who joined earlier this year.

BC&C Senior Partner Colin Cohen is delighted to have the two new recruits on board. “Since we were founded in 1985, we have developed a proud tradition of nurturing homegrown legal talent. Countless trainees have come through our doors and gone on to enjoy successful legal careers and we’re confident this will be the case with Jasmine and Gabriel,” he said.

“We have always invested in youth and offered aspiring young lawyers a clear career path. Half our Partners began their career with this firm, as did the vast majority of our Senior Associates and Associates. With these latest additions we now have eight young legal professionals either on the verge of being admitted as Solicitors or in the midst of their traineeships.”

Jasmine joins BC&C after completing her law degree and Postgraduate Certificate in Laws at City University of Hong Kong. She was previously an intern with the firm in the summer of 2020. Also born and raised in Hong Kong, Gabriel studied for his law degree at the University of Nottingham in the UK before completing his P.C.LL. at City University.

40+ years of legal experience is just a click away.
