Law & More: Episode 1 – Professor Simon Young

Hong Kong, 11 June 2021: We are thrilled to launch our new podcast series, Law & More, in which current affairs and pressing issues are viewed from a legal perspective by lawyers at Boase Cohen & Collins and our various guests.

In the first episode, our Senior Partner Colin Cohen meets Professor Simon Young, Associate Dean at the University of Hong Kong’s Faculty of Law. Among various topics, they discuss how Covid-19 has affected students and lecturers alike, and the impact of the national security law on university teaching. As a scholar of constitutional law, Simon also gives his thoughts on Hong Kong’s recent electoral reforms.
