BC&C maintains support for scholars

Hong Kong, 2 September 2022: BC&C Partner Fiona Chan has praised the next generation of lawyers after presenting the firm’s annual student prize at the University of Hong Kong’s Faculty of Law. The BC&C Prize in Accounts and Financial Management was awarded to outstanding scholar Miss Wong Hin Tung for her excellent performance while studying for her Postgraduate Certificate in Laws.

Says Fiona: “We are delighted to maintain our proud record of recognising academic achievement and our congratulations go to Hin Tung who, we are certain, is destined for a successful career in the legal profession. We should also pay tribute to the outstanding work of the Faculty of Law and highlight its continuing commitment to excellence.”

The prize is just one aspect of BC&C’s strong links with the Faculty of Law. The annual HKU-Boase Cohen & Collins Criminal Law Lecture is a major highlight of the academic calendar with the former Chief Justice of Hong Kong, the Honourable Geoffrey Ma, due to deliver the 2022 edition later this month. The firm is also a Senior Member of the HKU Charitable Foundation while Senior Partner Colin Cohen is a long-standing Honorary Lecturer in the Department of Professional Legal Education.
