Overview

Susan heads the firm’s growing Intellectual Property practice, where she focuses on trademarks, designs, patents and copyright, while she also handles civil and commercial litigation, information technology matters and trade secrets.

Hailing from the UK, Susan completed her law degree at the University of North London, graduating with Honours in 1992. Soon after, she studied for her Bar exams and joined the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn, one of the four Inns of Court in London, in 1993. She then worked as a Paralegal in private practice before being called to the Bar in 1996 as a Non-practising Barrister-at-Law in England and Wales.

She relocated to Hong Kong – her parents’ birthplace – in 1998 and joined BC&C soon after, becoming a Partner in 2016. Susan has been a member of the Asian Patent Attorneys Association since 1999 and the International Trademark Association since 2001.
