BC&C duo are admitted as Solicitors

Hong Kong, 28 November 2022: There were scenes of celebration outside the High Court in Admiralty on Saturday as Nicole Chong and Kyle Ho became the latest talented legal professionals with Boase Cohen & Collins to be admitted as Solicitors in Hong Kong.

Family, friends and work colleagues were on hand to share their landmark day which was the culmination of years of law studies followed by a two-year traineeship with the firm.

“Nicole and Kyle have made outstanding progress since joining us and we are delighted to see them take this significant step. They are important members of our legal team and we anticipate they will enjoy long and successful careers in the profession,” says BC&C Senior Partner Colin Cohen.

“We are proud of our tradition of nurturing legal talent. We have now seen 10 young solicitors admitted in the past two years which illustrates our commitment to youth. With Kyle and Nicole joining our ranks of Associates, the future of our firm is in good hands.”

Nicole studied for her law degree at the University of Hong Kong, which included a semester at the University of Copenhagen for academic exchange, and graduated in 2019. She then completed her PCLL at the University of Hong Kong in 2020.  Among her many extracurricular activities, she was devoted in conducting human rights and rule of law education sessions in various NGOs and schools.

Kyle brings a diverse background to BC&C. He completed his journalism degree at Hong Kong Baptist University, first working as a reporter, then moving on to handle corporate communications for a major property developer, where he built an extensive network throughout the years. A keen interest in law saw him return to studying, completing his Bachelor of Laws at the University of London in 2019.
