Ally Law extends footprint into Turkey

Hong Kong, 21 July 2022: Colin Cohen has welcomed Ally Law’s expansion into Turkey, with Istanbul-based Dündar Sır Law Firm joining the global legal services organisation.

“Turkey has long been a target market for us. Located at the crossroads of Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa, it is an important hub for global trade, logistics and manufacturing,” says Colin, Chairman of Ally Law’s Expansion Committee and Senior Partner in Boase Cohen & Collins.

“The country’s economy grew 11% last year, the fastest among the G20 nations, and now ranks as the 19th biggest in the world. Against this background, we are delighted to have Dündar Sır on board and we look forward to working with them.”

Formed in 2012 by legal professionals who had practiced together in leading banks, global law firms and Turkish governmental institutions, Dündar Sır provides services that span high-tech, infrastructure and energy projects, banking and financial services, capital markets and litigation.

BC&C is Hong Kong’s sole member of Ally Law, a worldwide grouping of more than 70 independent law firms which acts as a referral network and provides comprehensive legal services to major corporations.
