Hong Kong to welcome Ally Law delegates

Hong Kong, 19 June 2019: Dozens of Ally Law delegates together with guests and invited speakers will descend on Hong Kong in October when Boase Cohen & Collins hosts the organisation’s Asia Pacific Regional Meeting.

The day-long conference, with the theme "Hong Kong: Legal Excellence, Business Vision", will mix Ally Law business with discussion sessions on a range of legal topics designed to be relevant to law firms in Asia Pacific and beyond.

“We are honoured to be hosting this event and we intend to set new standards for a Regional Meeting in terms of networking opportunities, interaction with existing and new clients, quality and relevance of panel sessions, and potential for business growth,” said BC&C Senior Partner Colin Cohen, a past President of Ally Law and currently Chairman of the organisation’s Expansion Committee.

“While acknowledging that firms usually do not attend such meetings outside their region, we are especially keen to stress to our friends in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Americas the value and significance of this year's gathering and we understand some of them are giving serious consideration to participating.”

The conference, which is expected to attract some 40 delegates plus guests and Ally Law clients, will be staged on Friday 18 October at the Conrad in Admiralty.

Ally Law is a global legal services organisation comprising some 70 independent law firms in almost 50 jurisdictions and Boase Cohen & Collins is Hong Kong’s sole representative. The organisation holds an AGM in the first part of each year and three Regional Meetings, in the Americas, Asia Pacific and EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa), in the final quarter. Last year’s Asia Pacific gathering was held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
